SRK jinxed for special appearences?

If we think of the similarities between Kaal and Krazzy 4, what do we get? Well, yes obviously, both start with the letter K and both failed at the box office. And is SRK responsible?

Does anything else come to your mind? Let us tell you. Both of them have one more common factor and he is none other than Shah Rukh Khan. Wondering how? He did item numbers in both the films. Apart from item numbers SRK has also done guest appearances in many films which have not done well. So is the Baadshah of bollywood jinxed when he has a special appearance in a film? Let us explore..

In 1996, he did a cameo in Army which was a major flop. In the film he was the better half of Sridevi and got brutally killed by Danny Denzongpa. In the very next year, another film Gudgudee in which SRK played a special appearance failed at the box office.

The list does not end here. In 2006, he did an item song, Ishq Kameena for Shakti: The Power with Aishwarya Rai. However the film was a dud.


In the 2005 movie Kaal, Shah Rukh Khan danced on the number Kaal Dhamaal with Malaika Arora Khan. The movie was based around the story of a wildlife expert, his wife and a group of friends who battle against supernatural creatures in the Jim Corbett National Park for their lives. However, the film failed to impress both the critics and the audiences.

In the 2006 film Alag , Shah Rukh Khan seen in a promotional song. The film fared miserably at the box office. In the same year came yet another flop I See You which had SRK playing a cameo role of a guitarist.


Now, in 2008, Shah Rukh Khan was seen shaking his leg in Krazzy 4 . The film also had item numbers by Rakhie Sawant and Hrithik Roshan. But it was not enough to impress the critics who have given it a very poor rating.


It is believed that SRK will be doing another item number in Dostana. We hope that the film does well and breaks the jinx of the item numbers of king Khan
