Robot: Ash out, Deepika in?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has become pretty choosy about her projects post marriage. We hear she has walked out of S Shankar's Rajnikanth-starrer, Robot. The film is expected to take two years to complete — a commitment Ash isn't willing to make. Be that as it may, Shankar now has his sights set on Bollywood's newest darling, Deepika Padukone. Apparently, Ash was offered an eye-popping fee of Rs 4 crore for her role in Robot. When she received this offer, the stunning actress was all set to star in Ramesh Sippy's Happy Birthday. Excited about working with southern superstar Rajnikanth, she toyed with the idea of choosing Robot over Happy Birthday due to conflicting dates for both. That's when Happy Birthday got shelved and cleared the way for Robot.

However, now that Ash has backed out of the southern film, she has asked Rohan Sippy to revive Happy Birthday. The filmmaker agreed, and shooting is scheduled to begin sometime this year. The film will star Aishwarya and John Abraham.

Did Ash confirm herself that she has opted out of Robot? Coz if she didn't then I don't believe this story.
