Preity comes to save Bachchans from failure

Amitabh Bachchan and his clan have managed to persuade fellow Indian actress Preity Zinta to tour with them on a World Tour.

The Unforgettable Tour has come across many a problem with the latest being Bipasha Basu asking for more money. This wasn't possible, hence she quit the bandwagon. But ticket holders need not fret… Preity Zinta has agreed to replace her and she isn't even asking for much money.

According to a source, "Bipasha Basu hiked her price for the Unforgettable tour after the success of Race. The organisers refused to give in and she quit the show leaving the Bachchans in a lurch. Bipasha felt that since Aishwarya Rai was getting Rs 1 crore for one show, she deserved a better deal too. In fact Bipasha confirmed to the media that she had walked out of the show because money was an issue. Before Bipasha, Lara Dutta had walked out of the show as she felt insecure that Aishwarya Rai would hog all the attention. Preity Zinta has come as a saviour at the last minute and will be doing the show. Even Akshay Kumar, who had walked out of the show for money issues, is back."

A lot of work had gone into the original show, with Bipasha Basu, which has now been ditched. The show is being redesigned and will now feature different songs and routines to accommodate Preity's portfolio.
