Why OSO worked, and Jodhaa Akbar didn’t - Page 4

I haven't seen Jodaa Akbar yet, so I can't comment on it, but OSO is one of my favourite films, I can never get tierd at watching this film, too good 👏 👏 👏 👏, not as most of the movies with almost exact repeated storylines....

everybody has their own opinions....but that doesn't mean u can just shy away from the facts which is Jodha Akbar was a superhit and according to a rediff article It made more money than OSO

i like both but prefer JA and i dont say bad things bout the other movie to make my favorite luk good😉

I think a better topic would be why OSO fizzled out and TZP is still running...since they are both 2007 releases...

I don't understand why the movies are being compared?? 😕 they are two COMPLETELY different movies...yeah the gross openings are different

both movies are great in their own way...OSO had SRK and plus Deepika's hype and Farah Khan's new film.....where as JA had hype of Aashutosh Gowarikar..Oscar Director and two of the hottest stars Hrithik and Aish.

Jodhaa-Akbar is the type of cinema that Bollywood (and ourselves) should be proud of. It's of much better quality than of the majority which they produce year after year.

It's nice to see a film without OTT acting, use of english, foreign locations etc

Jodhaa-Akbar may have been difficult for some to understand but that is how they spoke in those days i.e Akbar speaking urdu and Jodhaa speaking hindi. Im sure if people took their time to watch the film and gave abit of interest in the history, you would love it too 😳

I agree with you and think that it is demeaning to compare a classic like JA to a run-off-the-mill movie like OSO!!! Kahaan JA, kahaan OSO - both are poles apart.

For all those who did not like JA and found it boring, I'd just like to say - "bandar kya jaane adrak ka swad"!!!!😉😆 - to be taken with a pinch of salt; no offense meant!!!😆
