same here... I didn't understand the story of JA...I spent my 3 hours but I didn't get the story at all except that Hrithik was muslim and Ash was hindu... I told my frd to watch it and tell me the story and she said I don't feel like wasting my time on this rubbish moive.... can someone tell me brief summary of JA....btw OSO was great movie and I loved it....I watched 3 times in cinema

that is just goes on to show that if u put srk alone in one prject and on the other hand u put good story, every grand hritick and aish still srk wins cuz we love him so so so much. 😳

Maybe you thought JA was boring cuz the language was such! But you must understand that it was the 16th century! You can't expect Jodhabai telling her hubby Akbar," Akku? where you like checking me out?''😆 And Akku saying,"Perfect din, Perfect dhoka!"😆

But yeah...I know you didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings! But still...I strongly strongly disagree with you!! 😉 OSO had no story....it was just a khichdi of stories from foreign and desi movies! Of course, even I don't mean to hurt n e one's feelings!😊

it was a bigger hit because it had good music/good songs/good actors/good actresses/wass vveerryy interesting, and ii jus luved it!!!!!!!!!!! 😃 😃

JA IS NOT A RUBBISH MOVIE! If you don't understand something...doesn't mean it was rubbish! ok...calm down...hmm
See....the story goes like this...

Akbar is this young , cool, handsome, muscular...ahem ahem Mughal King who wants to conquer many places in Hindustan...

He defeats this Rajput King Hemu when he was small under the guidance of his military general Bairam Khan...From then on...Bairam is always the one who tells him what to do and whta not to do...and you can imagine...youngsters get totally pissed off with this!!

So..Akku one day decides...that he can take his own decisions! so...he sends invitations or watever u call that to rajput kings to gain their friendship or if they deny...they had to fight him!

Like duh! most kings opposed this! But there was this one king...King Bharmal of Amer who wanted to be a friend of the Mughal king...He had his own reasons...
Reason 1: the mughal empire was strong...
2: he didn't want any bloodshed..
3. his daughter Jodha's marriage was broken and he wanted to get her married...

akku being a nice guy....thought for sometime...cuz it was a big thing that a muslim king would marry a hindu princess....he knew there would be many oppositions...but nevertheless...he thought this was the best decision...

they marry....but Jodha....didn't want to marry some unknown mughal dude...plus she still had the memories of her previous lover....she had all soughts of questions in her mind...
will they convert me? will they treat me well?? will i be humiliated?
her mother tells her to take her own life if she is not satisfied..

then all that rona-dhona...they marry....khwaja mere khwaja song sequence...and then...the first time the meet ....actaulyl they kinda don't!...this akku is totally romantic and stuff....but j odha is uncomfortable...so she is like...this this this and that t hat...and he is like ok ...i wont come near u untill u wish! so cute...

and then...all then...due to many instances.....akku finds that he is attracted towards his wife....and she also starts loving him....there is this saajish...

Akku's stepmom...does this whole plan...and makes it look as if Jodha has an affair wid her own stepbrother!!😆 ...akku's gets angry...wow...he looks soo sexy when he is angry!!😉

he sends her to her maika...and then...he comes to know the truth...and tries to win her back....
finally he does....!😃

besides the love story...there is another story that is taking place side by side..

Akbar's Sister's hubby...Shareefuddin who is soo unlike a shareef guy...wants to take over delhi....akbar has been tolerating his unjustices for quite some time only cuz he is his sister's husband....akku knows shareef dude is not a good ruler...thats y..

and all these conflicts take place...and this sharref guy manages to get jodha's mu bola bhai in his side cuz jodha's step bhai wanted to be the king of bharmal ad his father was the real king...but after his death..Jodha's dad takes over...but her dad never thought abt him when he was finally retiring as king!...he is upset...so he joins hand wid shareef..as he prmoised him to give him bharmal i think...

but this shareef guy just wants the crown of delhi...not fulfill n e body's wish...when mu bola bhai comes to know abt this and the fact that shareef was gonna kill akku....he changes side and goes to tell the truth....but he dies cuz of the arrow injuries...

and then...there is this fight sequence....and walla...jalaluddin, akbar's real name...wins!!!👏


I took the pain to write all this cuz I dont want ppl to be in the wrong impression abt JA!😃 Hope you understood now!😳

Did anybody mention the script of OSO? it was just a copy of karz with some humour element tossed into it...and foreign movie scenes added into it.....yes....even I enjoyed OSO...but it was only entertaining...no great script....
