Bollywood's starry jibes
This holds especially true to Bollywood; high on fragile egos and inflated pride.
Even the normally amicable Aamir Khan couldn't escape the temptation of making a mischievous albeit unexpected dig at rival Shah Rukh Khan during a press conference, not too long ago. How 'does it feel to be No 2 after Aamir?' is what the Taare Zameen Par filmmaker wanted to know. Luckily for him, SRK took it sportingly in his stride.

Bollywood's starry jibes
Karan Johar's celebrity talk show, Koffee With Karan invited a lot of attention. And sometimes for all the wrong reasons. Quite a few celebrities got into trouble for taking playful potshots at their colleagues in the humorous Rapid-Fire round.
Bindaas Bebo didn't bat a single eyelid before dubbing John Abraham 'expressionless' on small screen. Smartly enough, Kareena hasn't let personal feuds interfere with her career. The two are committed to work on a movie together.
Previously, the Kabul Express actor was at the receiving end of temperamental Salman Khan's mercurial moods. The model-turned hero was snubbed in public by his Salaam-E-Ishq co-star at a promotional event of the movie.

He's a perfectionist and opinionated too. Aamir Khan, clearly, doesn't believe in mincing words. His views on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black are a case in point. To quote the actor, 'The sensibility wasn't right for me, I couldn't make out if they were living in a house or a museum or a library or a church. The performances were over the top.'
Black's leading man Amitabh Bachchan was obviously offended. Bachchan made his displeasure vocal by telling a scribe, ''I cannot comment whether my performance was towering or not, but Aamir may be right on the other, maybe the performances did go 'over the top' of his head!'
That's Bollywood's beloved Angry Young Man for you.

Bollywood's starry jibes
There's nothing more amusing than celebrities washing their dirty linen in public.
Reacting to former wife, Rhea Pillai's not-so-complimentary remarks ('I gave up the Dutt name that she so desperately wants') referring to his current partner, Manyata, Sanjay Dutt opened up to a local tabloid.
'Then Rhea should also give up everything that came with the Dutt name,' was the deadly Dutt's bitter response.

Bollywood's starry jibes
While the paparazzi is have a wild time tracing every move of Bollywood's hottest love birds-- Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, a certain item girl is none too pleased. The famously gabby Rakhi Sawant didn't hold back her feelings over the much-publicised relationship.
At a chat show on TV, the Krazzy 4 hottie sneered at the Chhote Nawab where she was quoted as saying, 'Kareena looks too young for you (Saif) and I think that you should have sisterly feelings for her. She is too young (ten-year age difference) for you, Saif.'

Bollywood's starry jibes
Director duo Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have a knack for stepping on each other's toes. It began when their respective films, Om Shanti Om and Saawariya, were slated to release on the same day. In this game of one-one-upmanship, Bhansali's 'no comments' stance on anything OSO irked Farah no end.
She came up with her own volley of funnies on Koffee With Karan (where else?) with quips like how her film would be titled 'Ma Shanti Ma' if Bhansali was at helm. Predictably, Bhansali was peeved. Bottom line: the cold war continues.

Vidya Balan got tremendous flak for her tacky outfits in Sajid Khan's comic caper, Heyy Babyy. The actress thought it's only fair that her stylist, Manish Malhotra share some (read most) of the blame. In press, that is.
After a point, the designer decided to give the Halla Bol actress a dressing down, pardon the pun. Here's a sampler from his scathing outburst to a publication:
'How can she speak about fashion sense with her fantastic figure? Who is she?'

Bollywood's starry jibes
It rained insults when the Kal Ho Naa Ho jodi, Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan, shared the platform to host a popular awards function.
They made fun of Ram Gopal Varma and his Aag and Vidya Balan's garish wardrobe. They cracked jokes about Himesh Reshammiya's trademark nasal brand of singing and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's obsession with the colour blue.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Yash Chopra, Akshay Kumar were on the dig-list as well. They didn't spare themselves either.
Not everyone laughed, though. While VV Chopra demanded written apology, sensitive Bhansali expressed his disappointment on a TV channel, 'He (SRK) is loved in the country. And he should, I think, respect the love he gets by giving it to other people. It does hurt when especially people whom I have worked with (SRK worked in Bhansali's Devdas) and shared a great rapport and relationship (poked fun at Saawariya)!'
