Whenever there is a multi starrer film, issues like a certain actor being promoted more than the rest are bound to arise. Even a mature actor like Akshaye Khanna expressed his angst against Subhash Ghai when he felt that Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor were given better exposure while promoting 36 China Town!
This is what seems to be happening as far Race is concerned too! Sameera Reddy who shares the screen in this one with hotties like Katrina and Bipasha is apparently disappointed since Katrina, Bipasha, Akshaye and Saif are the only stars who have been entrusted with the task of promoting Race indirectly giving them more importance. One of Sameera€™s close friends revealed, €œSameera may not say it but she has been hurt by the fact that her co-stars Katrina and Bipasha have been given more importance in terms of promoting the film.€
We tried calling Sameera to know the truth but she was unavailable for comment. Thus we spoke to Abbas Mustan and the duo denied any such news.
€œSameera in fact loved the rushes of the film and is aware that all the characters have crucial roles in the film. It€™s not about the length but substance. Besides, Sameera has been promoting the film at various occasions for quite some time€, said Abbas.
Katrina in one of her interviews with Indiatimes Movies too commented on the issue saying, €œA film is liked for its entirety and not one particular star.€
