What is Preity's problem?

 We've got some news from the sets of National award-winning director Jahnu Barua's next, Har Pal. The story goes that one day, Baruah had to summon the film's producer Tito on the sets to sort out Preity Zinta's problems. What was Preity's problem? Well, the actress didn't like it one bit that her costume and boots was identical Eesha Koppihkar's (Eesha plays the second female lead in the film). Preity's sulking stalled the shooting for four to five hours.Says an eyewitness, "Eesha walked into the sets wearing the same black coat and boots that Preity was wearing. The scene was a prelude to a song, which was to be shot later. When Preity saw Eesha, she was stunned… and furious. She told Barua that this was rather unfair and he should quickly make arrangements to change Eesha's look." The unit went all out to explain to Preity that this was merely coincidental. Barua and Tito also chipped in and tried to tell Preity that it was not a big deal if she and Ishaa had a similar look for that particular scene, A source from the unit says, "We told Preity that she and Eesha had different designers (Preity's costumes have been done by Surily Goel and Eesha's costumes have been done by Payal Saluja), so it was not a deliberate attempt to show her down her in any way. Preity took a long time to agree. Thankfully, she saw light finally - but not before we had wasted at least five hours. Until then, poor Eeshaa was just cooling her heels and wondering if she would be forced to adopt a new look." When contacted, Eesha said, "All's well that ends well." Meanwhile Preity sent us a message saying, "Silly talk. Don't know where this comes from." |
