ya i read her post, and that's why I replied (duhhh......), she gave me a big lecture on how famous Aish is and what she has achieved and everything when i was comparing Oprah and Aish. She totally went off the topic of what i was saying, so when i replied i just emphasized on the real topic. I don't care about Aish and her fame. She is not the only one who is famous, and there are many others in bollywood who are much more famous and do so much more. This topic was about the Woman of Year..and to me, She does NOT deserve the title.

As for Aish being in news, why wouldn't she be ...she has made sure that she gets linked up with all high profile people so that she gets where she is now. If it was not for her high profile affair with Salman Khan then she wouldn't have been nothing but another flop version of all those Miss India Winners.

Anyways, i done care about this silly argument any more...to me she is nothing more than a famous model (some one like Pamela Anderson/Tyra Banks who men find desireable) And woman of year goes to someone who does something for society, not someone who stays in the news the most!

I dont think so. Aishwarya was always a well known model, its not like she was some random stranger! She first became a big star with Jeans (in the south) She even won best actress for that.

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam got her established in hindi movies. What does that have to do with Salman? Was he the director? Did he sign her? I dont think so. Whatever happened between them is their problem but as far as I know Salman was not the casting director of HDDCS.

It was the "combination" of Taal and HDDCs that got her established.

Not to mention she had already signed Mohabbatein, Josh, and other big movies she did before HDDCs released. So what your trying to say is quite stupid.
