Abhishek-Aishwarya say No to LG's offer

For those who think our stars can do anything for big bucks, here's an eye-opener. Abhishek Bachchan said 'No' to LG's offer to be their brand ambassador for their entire range of products across-the-board for an eye-popping price.

Reason? He didn't want to be even remotely unfaithful to another cell-phone manufacturing company. A source close to the Bachchans says, "LG was very keen to have Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to endorse their entire range of products across-the-line. It was an extremely tempting and lucrative offer. But LG's range of products also included cell-phones. And Abhishek is already endorsing Motorola cellphones. So, he had to decline LG's offer. But he has received a letter from the company saying they would love to have him and his wife as their brand ambassadors any time they wish."

The Abhishek-Aishwarya pair won't be seen in any advertisement at the moment. Their next screen outing will be Mani Ratnam's film that goes on the floors as soon as Abhishek returns from Miami after filming Karan Johar-Tarun Mansukhani's Dostana with Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham.

At the moment he's working 20 hours a day to wrap up Rakeysh Mehra's Delhi 6, which completed a 2-month schedule in Jaipur and is now being shot in Mumbai.

This article proves that he is AB's baby just like his dad he is also man of prinicples. Great going Abhi & Ash wish them best.

I didn't know he endorsed Motorola, but there is bound to be a clause in his contract which would legally prevent him from endorsing another Mobile phone brand, as it would be a conflict of interest.

wow.......a few days earlier there was an article saying that "abhishek wanted LG to sign ash along with him for the ad.....and LG ppl were soo angry that they kicked out abhi as well.....hahahaha! And now look at this.......This is a total contradiction ! 😆

But this story seems to be correct one....if it is..

As Abhi do endorses Motorolla and is go ahead and endorse the other phone then it is clash of interest and thats what Abhi has stated fo rnot doing that.

The one where with the mention of ASh name the LG people got so angery that threw Abhi out seems to be over the top....lets be realistic...wearetalking a bout ASH here. 😳

I am sure this story was given out by his PR agent after the LG version came out, and how can he endorse two brands of the same product anyways even if he wants to. I am sure there might be a clause that he can not endorse another product while involved with Motorola. I love the Media and PR circus 😃 😃

Maybe LG wanted Abhi to drop off his Motoroladeal and be there for all their product.

There has to be somethingmore that Abhi asking ASh to join him and then dropped off.

Come to think of it Who would not want ASh for their brand? She is THE girl

But Ash-Abhi did mention long time back that they would not merge business with profession.And ASh said Abhi does not need my help in his career and neither do I need him for mine....

This article seems more plausible than the other one.
I honestly cant imagine LG not wanting Ash if they can afford her.
But I still dont get how LG wanted abhi to endorse their phones when his name is tied to Motorola in India. He cant just drop the Motorola contract unless its time for renewal.
