After Kareena, Its Shahid's turn

Soon after his two major hits Vivaah and Jab We Met, Shahid is increasingly turning out to be amongst the select few who can carry a solo hero film on his young shoulder. Must say a commendable feat considering that most of the hits delivered last year in Bollywood were multi-starrers and big budget movies. But somehow the industry has reposed faith in him.

His forthcoming solo hero projects include Aziz Mirza's Kismat Konnection, Ken Ghosh's musical drama, two films with Yash Chopra's banner and a film to be directed by his dad and veteran actor Pankaj Kapur. And now, according to reports Shahid has been signed by none other than master craftsman, Vishal Bharadwaj for his next production, a virtual stamp of approval of Shahid star capabilities and growth as an actor.

And though, no one's willing to go on record, the grapevine insists that Vishal and Shahid are indeed teaming up. Surely seems like Shahid's journey to superstardom has just begin, or should we say he has already arrived?
