Sushmita is a Man!!!
Sush is all set to play Rani Laxmibai in her forthcoming film for which the feisty actress has even donned the role of a producer and director! The script of the film has already been finalised and according to the people involved in the project, Sush has left no stones unturned to see to it that the film doesn't fall short of its expectations... the expectations that people have from period dramas.
We spoke to ace art designer Nitin Desai recently who will be working on the sets of Sush's period drama and the man had all praises for the Sensuous Sen. "Sushmita's intelligence and hard work is worth admiring. The lady has done a humongous research before calling the shots for her film Rani Laxmibai . She sat with me and within four hours flat had finished her final narration of the script unlike many filmmakers who keep altering their stories each day. She can put any filmmaker to shame with her incredible knowledge of history", said Nitin.
When probed about Sush's costume, a hesitant Nitin replied, "Sush's costume will be a mix between the Maharashtrian nine yard sari and the sari that warrior ( kshatriyas ) women wore in those days. She will also sport a pheta (turban)."
