Do you think that Deepika is overrated?:)

Recently, all you ever hear in the news is Deepika these days.

I have nothing against her but I just feel that she is overrated and hyped to the max.

In OSO she was nothing outstanding, just ordinary. Yet, the whole of the industry and media are going gaga over her.

Yeah, I agree that Deepika is a decent looking girl but she isn't somebody who I would say is astonishingly beautiful.

I know that she is marketing herself very well with all the ads, alleged affairs and film signings.

But I just don't understand what is so outstanding about her.

What is your opinion about this?

Why is she been put on such a high status stand?

Do you feel that other more competent actresses are being ignored?

Has she done enough for the industry to make her liable for the interest and gratitude she has been getting?

I am aware that there are many fans of Deepika here, and I hope I haven't offended them. I have just expressed my personal opinion about her so don't get any chappals out to beat me.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Any other actress could have done the role in OSO. Yes, she's good looking, and can act, but nothing outstanding has come from her way yet. I think she has the potential to do some great stuff, but as of yet..I just don't see what everyone's all "gaga" over, as you put it. It's not Deepika who's riding the wave, it's the hype of the moment.

i like her but i agree with u, she's soo overated there's nothing soo special about her acting any actress could have done it.
but she's beautiful maybe that's why cause that's what matter to bollywood.

Deepika is good, she has great screen presence

Sonam is overrated, Ranbir is overrated

I don't really understand the craze about her. Her role in OSO, was nothing different, but she did look and dance very well.

I wouldn't call her overrated because i don't rate her at all 😆 I think we need to see her actually 'acting' in a film to decide if she is a good actress or not. Standing around in a scene, blowing bubbles and using someone elses voice does not make an actress.
