Aamir Khan was on TV - Page 4

A few comments are in order here -

1. On the Aamir interview about Star Screen Awards - he said that he has the utmost respect for Shatrughan and the rest of the members of the Screen Awards, he also said he was very touched by the words of Shatrughan Sinha in praising the movie and to the specific question about attending awards, he said that it is not important !!! So where exactly is he saying that he is happy about getting the screen awards - I was infact quite amazed with how he was able to handle the situation inspite of Shatrughan (head of jury at Screen) standing next to him ...

2. Mrs. Ackles - please do not confuse films open to interpretation with films that are complex cinematically - Memento falls in the latter category ... there are very simple films that can have some very complicated views to decipher, latest case in point "No Country For Old Men" ... I personally liked Memento but I would not say that a person does not appreciate films with multiple interpretations just on the basis of people liking/disliking the film !!

About the Black comment - Aamir said that every film is manipulative, it is the director's job to make you feel that the manipulation is not obvious and that is where SLB lacked in Black and going by most people's views, that is very TZP is different - very few people if any have said that the film is in any way manipulative ... 👏 👏

There are two separate issues here. One is Aamir's opinion of other films and his own handling of his film. The other is how he handles kids. My observations are only based on his 4 days shooting in our housing society, his handling of the kids both in his film and in our society.
