Saif and Kareena will play terrorists in Karan Johar's next production

Looks like Saif- Kareena will go down in 2008 as the couple daring to play different roles. Not only are they the most sought-after jodi, but the two will also be seen portraying interesting characters in various films.
The latest buzz doing the rounds is that Saif-Bebo will be seen in a totally different avtaar in Dharma Productions' next to be directed by Renzel D'Silva, who co-wrote the screenplay for Rang De Basanti with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
Thrilling twist
A source reveals, "It's a sensitive emotional story with a thrilling twist. Both Saif and Kareena play terrorists who fall in love under a very difficult situation." Interestingly, Saif earlier refused another Dharma film to be directed by Tarun Mansukhani starring Abhishek and Ash. While Saif had cited date problems, the real reason was his apprehension about the scope and nature of his role.
Mature lover
"This time around Saif is quite excited about the film. He's ready to experiment and try out different roles. His role in Tashan and Race are action oriented, but with this new film he will be able to play a mature lover caught in the storm of terror."
The project has also managed to rope in Anurag Kashyap to write dialogues. This will be the first time Anurag and Karan work together after their patch-up.
Karan was unavailable for comment.
