I am often misunderstood:Aman Verma

Aman Verma is often labelled as snobbish. But he claims that neither does he throw attitude nor is he high handed. "

I am often misunderstood. I talk to the point and that is why people often find me rude. On the contrary, I am frank. A little stubborn perhaps, but then, I have also learnt to bend," says Aman. Life seems to be good for this actor who is now looking forward to his latest film projects and a reality show. "I play a character called Raj Guru in a film based on the Maharashtra government.

I am also doing a cameo in Suniel Shetty's Easy Monthly Installments." Aman feels that he would rather be known as Aman, the actor than by his very popular on screen character Anupam Kapadia in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. "I like to be called Aman.

That's me." He believes that he is comfortably set in both television and films. "As an actor I prefer to play different characters and experiment with a variety of mediums. While many believe that I am 'returning' to television, I would like to point out that I have always done television and films simultaneously. I always immerse myself in the characters that I play.

I would love to play a role like the one Al Pachino played in Scarface and that of Sunil Dutt in Mother India." When not donning the grease paint, Aman says he likes to "hang out with friends and watch movies.

I was into all sorts of sports like swimming, football, badminton and the like but I keep so busy these days that I don't find time for any of these." Aman reveals that one of his dreams is to fly a plane. "I want to earn a license for a commercial pilot someday," says Aman who feels that he's got name, fame and fortune by being a part of the small as well as the big screen. Then what's missing? Perhaps that special someone? "I was seeing someone till last year but we broke up. As of now I am very much single," says Aman. Or shall we say, ready to mingle?
