He had left for the Singapore for a six-week treatment programme for his knee injury which had been a result of shooting strenuous action scenes for the historical.
Sources close to Hrithik informed, "The making of Jodhaa Akbar was supposed to be shot before he left for Singapore but it wasn't possible. Hrithik had already made it clear that he won't be coming back for six weeks. But after he was requested by the makers to drop in for a two-day trip to shoot the making, he instantly obliged though."
Adds the source, "He took permission from his doctors there and made a quick trip to Mumbai. Jodhaa Akbar is a very important film for him and he is willing to go out of his way to promote it, injury or no injury."
There was also a buzz that he would be skipping the Jodhaa Akbar music launch which was scheduled for December 27th. The PR of the film, Sanchita Dubey has however clarified that, "The music launch has been postponed to early January because the music rights of the film has changed hands from BIG Music to the Jodhaa Akbar producer UTV's newly launched music company. But Hrithik has assured us that he will be a part of it."
