Noone lost to Srk, Slb made a film which has not been liked, he lost to himself, his previous films, maybe, but not Srk.

Because this is Bollywood forum and when articles are posted on any subject we choose to comment on it and make some comments in jest. Nothing personal towards Bansali, his fans, SRK, his fans or anyone. It is only when some people take it personally and starts name-calling when the whole topic deviates and becomes a power -war within forum.

Raksha SLB is one of the good filmmakers indeed...but he is overrated...

I think his HDDCS was his best...I didt like his glossy interpretation of Devdas...Aish playing Paro and SRK playing Devdas ruined the charm of these charaters for me...I heard somewhere that that are remaking Sahib Biwi aur ghulam with John Abraham playing bhootnath and Priyanka chopra playing chchoti bahu....I felt like strangling whoever is making this film

Saawariya is a good film no doubt..but pitting it against OSO and getting involved in theis media circus worked against it...this film would have done better if it had had a quieter release without any hype...just my POV!

Just sometime back I told someone how I have all of SLB movies in my collection and I am going to get Saawariya too without bothering about any reviews, good or bad. I haven't watched this one so out of all other films I find Khamoshi his best. May be because it was his first film and I found everything about the film so fresh. HDDCS was a colorful film but it had the best combination of colors and Ash never looked beautiful again. SLB even managed to make Ajay Devgan look handsome😃. But I agree that Devdas was one of his weakest films. I didn't like the treatment given to the film. I thought it went over-the-top in terms of emotion. I loved Black would be a cliche. But I did for his subject, Mr.Bachchan and the little girl. Only one I was not impressed much was Rani. Her acting was good but not great. I was in tears during the whole film so much that I had a headache for two days.

BTW anyone noticed how much Bansali-yat is there in 1942-Love story? I know that he assisted VVC and also helped Farah with choreography. You can tell that in so many places. 1942 is another fav. movie of mine in all aspects and I am sure SLB did more that assistance in the film.
