That Om Shanti Om has a song featuring 30 stars is common knowledge. What people don't know is that Shah Rukh has presented a gift hamper containing expensive watches and cellphones to all the stars on the song, since all of them refused to accept money.
Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Mithun Chakraborty, Rekha, Shabana Azmi, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Preity Zinta, Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, Karisma Kapur and Bobby Deol, among others, have made an appearance in the song. However, all of them did the song free of charge. Shah Rukh, to thank them, sent them a gift hamper each.
Each gift hamper contains a watch (from an international company for which SRK is brand ambassador), a Nokia N-series cellphone, a gold coin and an Om Shanti Om T-shirt, and a personalised letter written by SRK and Farah Khan.
An actor, on condition of anonymity, says, "We all can do anything for SRK. It was a pleasant surprise to get this hamper. I am extremely happy since it will be a rocking song. Farah has really done a good job."
When contacted Farah simply said, "I am not comfortable talking about this."
