i dont like hockey but the film's theme luks very inspiring and eveyrbody has loved the performances in the film, especially srk's!... and ppl say that srk doesnt do anything different, and now that he is, i think eveyrone shud take a shot at watching Chak De India, and its already received a very good response! 😉

I don't know if i'll be able to watch it in cinema or not.........and i can't even watch it in pirated prints..........and it'll take 1-2 months for the dvd to come out. Wht do i do wht do i do? 😭

CDI may be boring but it has substance unlike JBJ which had no storyline just style.

Yes, I agree its a well made movie! I recommend it.
SRK fans, you will be proud of SRK's acting and portrayal of Coach Kabir Khan. He is fantastic. 👏 Whoever says he can only do romantic loverboy roles, CDI is your answer.
The focus is on hockey, Coach Kabir and the 16 players. No deviation from the main story. No romance or dancing around trees or swiss alps in the film whatsoever. No random comedy scenes either!

Komal is awesome, what a spunky, outspoken and spirited girl! I loved her introduction when she was playing hockey on the street and broke the side window of the car. 😆 She is one character you remember after the film is over. Her rivalry with fellow forward Preeti is interesting to watch. She keeps calling her memsaab.

Even if you don't like hockey, I feel you can still enjoy the film. The field hockey sequences are well shot and executed. Usually in sport films, they show one or two minute of the match and one team winning. But there is a good development of certain matches in the show and they don't show the team winning right away or blowing out all the other teams by scoring 10 goals or something. Initially there are some tough losses and when you finally see the team win a match, you feel its believable.

Chak De is truly a landmark sports film and it depicts the hard realities of Indian sports where cricket gets all the attention and the funds while rest of the games are left in oblivion to languish.....also, the humiliation we inflict on players by accusing them of dishonesty even when they have given their best....the film showcases this well....

Chak De is not about hockey alone.... it is about self-respect, redemption and celebration of the irrepressible human spirit , somewhere on the lines of Rang De Basanti.....It's my personal favourite now... It was amazing the way the audience was clapping and cheering the girls during the hockey match sequences...almost as if the matches were for real...kudos to the entire team of Chak De India!👏

Go watch it for SRK and what GIRL-POWER is actually all about..

how come amna? you must watch in cinema. I loved the movie. After a long time, i watched a great movie.
