Yep, it's her belated birthday bash and her Juhu abode has been renamed Casino Royale for the July 6 riot.
Madame Kapoor has sent out invitations asking guests to dress in red-and-black and to come shaken, not stirred! Funnily enough, the invite mentions RSVP for a certain Ms Moneypenny.
We're wondering if Miss Moneypenny is Ekta's close confidante, Nivedita Basu... hmmmm.....

Post Kaisa Ye Pyaarr Hai, Ekta steered clear of the channel for various reasons (for those who came in late, she pulled her shows off the channel after former Balaji employee Sandiip Sikcand left her for Sony).
But now, her new show Khwaish will soon air on Sony.
Shot in Dubai and starring Priya Bathija, Anju Mahendroo and Sumit Sachdev, Khwaish is a story of a simple, strong-minded girl called Aafreen.

Surprisingly, Sony's chief creative director Sandiip Sikcand has been keeping a low profile for some time now.
Post his gall bladder surgery, we last heard he was celebrating niece Snehaal Babbani's SSC results and helping her with college admissions.
But the telly world is abuzz with the story that come August and Sandiip's will be making his exit from Sony, exactly a year after he joined the channel. Apparently, he wants to get into direction and theatre.
Is that the reason Ekta Kapoor is back with Sony? Ooooh...!

At a recent product launch, Kareena Kapoor came in looking like something the cat had dragged in.
Limp hair, overly casual clothes, an alarmingly skinny frame and oversized dark shades, she also posed extremely awkwardly for the cameras and seemed extremely fidgety.
When we quizzed Bebo about it, she said, "I had just returned from a shoot for Yash Raj's Tashan that involved an extremely emotional scene.
I cried a lot for the shot, so my eyes were red. That's why I decided to wear dark shades."
Dahling, you had us worried there. Start eating some food now, please.

A birdie tells us that their bundle of joy is now expected any time now.
Though it is a happy occasion, Sonu and Madhurima prefer to keep mum about the new arrival.
Buzz is that Madhurima will deliver in Kolkata and everything is very hush-hush.
However, this birdie has promised to chirp as soon as she delivers.
