Reshammiya, who is a Hindu, had gone to the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti on Tuesday to seek blessings for his debut feature film ''Aapka Suroor,''. But huge crowds gathered in front of the shrine to watch him and he wasn't able to enter the shrine, the reportsaid. He returned later dressed in a burqa. Hundreds of people of all faiths visit the shrine in the city of Ajmer everyday. The Anjuman Committee that runs the shrine said that Reshammiya's apology had been accepted. Last year Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif created a controversy when she was photographed visiting the shrine dressed in a knee-length skirt. |
