Priyanka Chopra will not be act in Choreographer Saroj Khan's film Sati-A Burning Desire. Here is how she is sketching her way to the top!
Saroj has approached Priyanka for the film, but she will not do the film. This has been confirmed by her secretary, Chand Mishra.
After signing a lucrative three-film deal with UTV, which will have a prestigious setup and big makers, she will not do films that could put a speedbreaker on her career path.
Saroj Khan may be one of Bolywood's most respected choreographers who was chiefly responsible for the sensuous performances of Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit in the songs they did through their career, but her skill as a director still needs to be established. She has made her directorial debut in with a Bhojpuri film, Dil Diwana Tohar. Unfortunately for her, the film is yet to be released and therefore her credentials as a director still debatable.
When Saroj Khan announced her Hindi film, she went to the press with an announcement that Priyanka Chopra would do the film. But there was no confirmation from the actress slated to be No 1 one day.
In all probability, Priyanka will politely give the age-old excuse of 'No Dates' and will work in some other film. With Drona soon-to-be-released, she will be carefully guiding her career towards the No 1 position.
She is already the new face of Lux soap, after Aishwarya Rai's contract ended and stepped into Sushmita Sen's place as the Tag Heuer watches. And Priyanka will continue to be Don—SRK's girl in the sequel to the sequel.
