 Director Mani Ratnam at Cannes got a big disappointment when Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai decided not to attend Guru's premiere at Cannes despite Ratnam's frequent requests.This has apparently not gone down well with Ratnam. Abhishek and Aishwarya had other plans and they were flying out the very day Guru premiered. The other cast members attended the red-carpet event and also addressed the audiences and the media at the festival. Sources say that the couple believes that they are long done with the film and any publicity exercise at this point is of no use. Aishwarya and Abhishek are on a pleasure trip and did not want to think about work. The Guru premieres were bound to be followed by interviews and discussions. Earlier her commitment to L'Oreal already interrupted her honeymoon. Also, the actress has also told (UTV) producers of Jodha Akbar that she will not be part of the luncheon and other promotional events for Jodha Akbar. |
