My son's father

Naseer goes to Dehradun to watch younger son Vivaan's school play. (He talks about elder son Imaad too)

Naseeruddin Shah has left for Dehradun with wife Ratna Pathak on an important mission, last night. He's going all the way there to watch his younger son, Vivaan's, first stage production. Says the excited father, "I'm going to watch a play that Vivaan has directed in school. My wife and I are going on Thursday night. He has been winning the best actor award for two years now. But this is his first stab at direction."

Meanwhile, Naseer's elder son Imaad is about to make his debut as a leading man in Dil Dosti, Etc. Says Naseer, "No, it isn't his debut really. He played a small role as a baby with me in The Perfect Murder. He also did a part in my Pestonjee many years ago. Then he was seen in my directorial venture Yun To Kya Hota Hai. And now he's making an appearance as a leading man in Dil Dosti Etc. In addition, Imaad is also acting in (screenwriter) Sooni Taraporewala's directorial debut, about the Parsi community."

Yet Imaad keeps insisting that acting isn't his true calling. To this Naseer says, "I don't know why he keeps saying that. I think he wants to make a mark on his own. The thought of a head start through me doesn't comfort him too much. What's bothering him is that if he's an actor he'd be known primarily as my son. He wants to be known as his own man. But it isn't up to him… Acting is bound to take over his life. I think my younger son has made up his mind about being an actor. As a kid, I too had made up my mind to become an actor. But I couldn't reveal my aspirations to anybody. I stuck to my dreams. Now I wait to be known as my sons' father."

Naseer son need a hair cut, cant even see his face properly, am sure if he straightened his hair, cut it short, he would look goood 😉

Oh no they r not ugly, its not fair to say like that ...they r not too handsome or gud luking, anyway i like them n we must accept them as they r...afterall they r human being ..thnks
