Hrithik star opposite Uma Thurman!!

If UTV plans go through, Uma Thurman will become the first mainstream Hollywood star to play a lead role in a Bollywood film and Hrithik will become the first Bollywood actor to be paired in the lead opposite a Hollywood star!

Siddharth Roy Kapoor, the marketing head of UTV Production House, confirms that they had approached the 'Kill Bill' star about a year ago but only of late has the Hollywood actress shown interest and asked for the script.

Hrithik has to his credit a well-toned muscular physique and acclaimed dancing skills. Both his films released in 2006, Krrish and Dhoom 2 , broke box office records

In 'Krrish' Hrithik played India's first superhero opposite Priyanka Chopra . The film, produced and directed by Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan , featured breathtaking cinematography and stunts.

'Dhoom 2', in which Hrithik was paired opposite Aishwarya Bachchan , also featured slick cinematography and stunts. Additionally it scored because of the sizzling onscreen chemistry between Hrithik and Aishwarya, including the much talked about lip-smooch.

Director Bharadwaj who is expected to wield the baton to direct Thurman and Hrithik recently directed Omkara , a contemporary Indian adaptation of Shakespeare's 'Othello'.

Thurman will play Nadia, an Australian born actress who ruled stunt films in India in the early twentieth century.

She was dubbed 'Fearless Nadia' because of her Errol Flynn like stunts with a Zorro-like get up, often wielding a hunter (whip).
