Aamir KHAN!!!

hey guys, so its well known that aamir khan refuses to attend award ceremonies.. but why? what happened that caused this?

maybe he just does'nt want to, some people don't like to come to award functions since alot of them in my opinion are unfair

I love Amir Khan as well, but not more than SRK

but he should attend u know, b-cuz he deserves all the awards

he is a great actor, i dont' know about his personality,

but I love his acting!

by the way who is that (someone) told u Riz, that he is proud

i dont' think Amir Khan is proud

it is just his nature that he doesn't want to attend

so don't call his proud please😊

It's simple because he doesnt work for awards and doesnt believe in them. Half the time people who deserve the award don't even get recognized, and I'm happy he doesnt bother showing up.
In my opinion jury's have stopped giving him awards just because he doesnt show up, which is fine because he wouldnt accept it in the first place.

He didnt care about award ceremonies n so on bcoz we all know how its going n how its being performed...thnks

Umm...think he won this year's Filmfare Critics award for Best actor...he doesn't attend awards cauz he thinks they are rigged..personally I feel he should attend them..No awards are completely fair u know...not even the Oscars.

For several years, he continued to play the roles of a charming lover in films like Love, Love, Love, Tum Mere Ho etc. However, his power-packed performance in 'Dil' changed his path forever. He realised what he wanted. Heartbroken for not being given a well deserving 'Filmfare Award' that year (which he lost to an equally good Sunny Deol, who won for Ghayal), he vowed never to work in the hope of or to be lured by the 'meaningless' awards (except in cases like National Awards or Oscars).

Aamir, has abstained from attending any award ceremony since then, stating that the real test or reward of an actor's potential or hard work is 'the appreciation of the audience', and he cares for nothing more. He did not pick up the Best Actor trophies for brilliant films like Raja Hindustani, Sarfarosh or Lagaan.

Wow, what a deep thought, never thought about that "dil" & "ghayal", maybe that was the reason, anyways its his wish, he used to attend awards ceremonies but seems like he is fed up now and rightfully so!
