Shilpa feels heady with the launch of her new perfume and the scent of things to come

Shilpa has been inhaling a lot of fragrances lately. "I had to go through twelve bottles of fragrances to choose my perfume. The smelling spree was interspersed with cups of coffee. I got quite a headache. But it was fun, choosing a perfume that would be named after me," says Shilpa. She adds, "I like people who smell good. And yes, I love wearing perfumes. So, I'm looking forward to my very own perfume."

Shilpa's perfume will be launched in the next few months. She says, "It'll be distributed by one of the biggest British companies and will be sold at stores like Selfridges and Woolworth's. But right now we're not releasing the perfume in India, only in Britain and the Gulf countries and later, in the US."

As far as her commitments in India are concerned, Shilpa has decided enough is enough. "I've cancelled all my commitments in London to complete Metro in Mumbai. That's my top priority. I've put everything on the back-burner for Metro. I've to do my pending combination shots with Kay Kay, Shiney, and the rest of the cast. Otherwise we'll miss out on the May 11 release. We're aiming for a huge release abroad," she says.

Speaking about her future plans, Shilpa says, "After Metro, I can't decide which film to do next. Here people are scared to approach me because they think I've upped my price or something. Let's be realistic. I need to sit and listen to more scripts."
