Nishabd failed!

Ram Gopal Varma's just-released film 'Nishabd' failed to woo audiences. It stars Amitabh Bachchan and debutant Jiah Khan featuring young gal-older man affair; expectation was almost unanimous that the film would do well at the box office. But the lukewarm opening response to the film has come as a sheer surprise. At least in metros, it was being expected that the film would get 100 percent opening. Sadly, it didn't even cross the 50 percent mark.
In some Mumbai cinemas, the film opened to as low as 20 to 30 percent, which is very shocking.
The scenario was the same in other parts of the country. The Next day it was the same story. On Sunday, Holi kept most moviegoers away, so the collections dropped further.
