What an incredible comeback by Ranveer Singh!!!!! - Page 2

I love a great redemption arc. When someone is completely written off and ostracised for no big reason and they still manage to rise above it and prove the naysayers wrong, There is no better comeback story than this. And I've seen it happen time and again. It happened with Bobby Deol, it's happening to Akshaye Khanna and Ranveer Singh right now.

And I'm so glad that I get to witness it. There is no better revenge than success. When the world was busy writing them off and spreading negativity, they kept their heads down and worked hard silently as it's said in the movie sabr and nazar. And it payed off and how! So trust the process and let your work speak for itself is the biggest learning that we can all apply to our lives.

Also they can write you off, they can do negative PR against you, they can slander your name but they can never take your talent away from you. That's why I knew Ranveer can't go anywhere because he is one of the rare talented ones and bollywood can't afford to lose him the numbers speak for itself.

The numbers have been fudged, and the critics bullied into silence, but you know what? If that means a ‘comeback’ for Ranveer, then I guess it’s all great. God knows some people really worship celebrities, and it’s a relief to see them finally getting a sigh of relief after a decade or so.

I have always liked Ranveer as an actor though I still can't call him my favorite actor. I am happy for him because of this movie's success. If this movie had failed probably it would have been almost an end to his career which thankfully didn't happen. I don't like his offscreen shenanigans but onscreen he is a fabulous actor. Hope he does more versatile roles like this in his career.

Also, I like the fact that a certain fandom who was kinda overconfident that this movie will be a disaster is burning with jealousy since past one week and giving all sorts of excuses and even crediting other actors just to put down Ranveer. 😂

No, i haven’t watched it yet. not really excited either, movies with extremism tend to put me off. I will though, sooner or later. As I watch every movie from a to b grade anyway.

Don’t feel sorry for me. feel sorry for yourself, for losing all the morale you usually show with every other right-winger movie, but somehow choosing to support this one because your baba’s in it. that’s.. an interesting level of morality. tsk tsk.

That was a mid movie only partially watchable thanks to Ranveer’s performance….if you remove his performance, it’s nothing but an unbearable starplus saas bahu show….

I also don’t believe in this fallacy of failing and making a comeback….an actor of Ranveer or Akshay’s calibre can never not be getting their due….

However, the TM is talking about how it’s socially acceptable again to like Ranveer openly….IYKYK
