I beg to differ. Miss Rai playing a ghost was the weakest link of the movie Mintyji.

Even Rani would have done a better job

But Rani wasn't casted, so how would you know what job she probably would have done???

It is a sweet scene...and looking at all the pairings SRK-Aishwarya, I find it very interesting that this pairing didn't get a fulfilled romance love story in any of their movies...Josh = siblings (and Aish wishing to play a love interest to SRK after that)...well, she got those roles in the next movies with them as leading pairing, but...

Miss Rai's role wasn't that challenging, it was a freaking ghost. Anyone could have played that meaningless role and Rani has proven she can do cameos effectively. Rani is 20x the actress Miss Rai can ever be. Miss Rai is a horrible actress and proved that time and time again. SRK-Miss Rai pairing was horrible, they are mismatched. It was a miracle they got Devdas together and glad he threw her out of his 5 movies after that. She was unprofessional bringing her love life on the sets and what not. Anyway, it's past now and she will be remembered as one of the biggest flop actresses in Bollywood history

Aishwarya was good looking at one time in her life, but I wish she had maintained her acting and she could have surpassed all the actresses of Bollywood. But sadly, she didn't and I am heartbroken for life

Mintyji, why don't we post Madonna's cameo role in James Bond instead of Miss Rai? Madonna was more glamorous and could have done a swordfight with Hrithik. I imagine it all the time, what a hot pairing they would have made. She says the famous line "I don't like cockfights." She has a flair for comedy, better than Aishwarya's cold-faced stare in Mohabbatein. I would not even look at her, I would run to the hills

Aishwarya is so beautiful that a sunflower would face her instead of the sun. That kind of beauty is hard to come by.

All of the major actresses declined the role in Mohabbatein because they didn't want to be a ghost - Kajol, Karishma, etc. Miss Rai needed a role because she wanted to be in a Khan movie so she got lucky.

Then her affair with Salman ruined everything for her.

So it is her fault her fate lost those 5 movies.
