It will return in the future. Vijay is trying out a dark mode for IF similar to all other sites. Originally he launched it without a toggle to choose. He set it so that it would set to light or dark based on your phone settings. On feedback from just us mods he's rolled back that update and will add a toggle. So look out for it.

On topic, I don't think he said anything new. The article is based on something he wrote on Twitter a couple of weeks back which he then clarified. Then some poll was conducted asking who could replace him. Ainvayi clickbait title tha.

Show starts in August and ends in December they extended it this time due to 25 years anniversary

You can turn off dark mode. Click on the 3 bars beside the India Forums logo in that red bar on the top and there's a way to turn it off.
