Blaming everything on the media and 'conspiracy theorists' is a cop out . Just because professional trolls and nutjobs like KRK or Arnab Goswami have set shop around this it doesn't mean everybody who questions the holes in this story is just as nutty. There are plenty of people ,including ex cops and who wonder what's up with all this. Just like not everything is a conspiracy ,not everything is a conspiracy theory either.

Saif and Kareena don't have to clarify everything . They're not responsible for what the police did or what the doctors did and nobody expects them manage the media either. But you're going out of your way to defend their conspicuous silence. They don't have to speak to the media, nobody is holding a knife to their heads asking them to speak ; but it's a reasonable expectation for them to come out and give their version and try to make it make sense. It's pretty customary for celebs and public figures to release a statement after a controversial incident , either themselves or if they're too traumatised to talk or too busy putting trendy outfits together for their afternoon catwalks , through some deputy ,maybe a lawyer. I don't get why that's such a strange concept.

Ofcourse the police are now claiming the finger prints match. We don't expect them to admit they fckd up a third time do we ? They're under pressure to make it look like they're onto something. It's called framing. Welcome to India ; it happens all the time. If somebody like Aryan Khan could be framed a poor person who allegedly crossed the border illegally is more than an easy target. Very conveniently he's from Bangladesh. Yeah this is a terrible and incredibly lazy way to react. Very disingenuous. There's a really disturbing tendency on this forum to throw around rape analogies and references to SA casually to defend some bizarre claim by a celeb. Victim shaming or victim blaming is when the victim is shamed and blamed for what happened to them . When they are held responsible for what happened to them and told they invited it on themselves by doing something somebody doesn't approve of. Nobody is shaming or blaming Saif here for being attacked and nobody is saying he deserved to be stabbed. Nobody is mocking him for getting stabbed in the back . Saif and Kareena have amped up their security. Visuals seen here from the ground for a fence being added to their balcony. Kareena has gone silent on social media when she used to be so active. Also reports that they have asked papz to leave their kids alone. So many changes, it’s obvious this family went through something traumatic. For those claiming it’s a PR stunt; it has to be the most extravagant PR stunt in the history of PR. No, dear, nothing like you wrote in the first line of your post. In the contrary, I respect your takes and like to argue with you (you make sensible remarks).

My faith into everything concerning the legislative (including the different departments) - not only the Indian ones - is always according to the way things are handled...and in this case - again - it is quite obvious that the work of the police doesn't inspire me to believe into a thorough work. Not once a statement from their side brought facts as such but only something they pretend to be facts. Imo, it isn't farfetched to think that they just grabbed someone in a weak social/legal position and now try to manipulate things to make him the culprit. Everything that had been reported by the police could be a lie they turn into truth. In my thinking, that isn't "conspiracy" from my side but just knowledge about police work and legal matters.

I think, there is a very valuable reason that Saif and family don't interfere by making public statements themselves. They have enough to do to deal with the aftermath of the incident. I'm in no hurry to hear something from their side.

I also guess, that several high profile Hindi film celebs with children have to deal with a lingering anxiety about the current state of affairs.

Still, BI is right as the reproaches (lacking security) and also the gossipping and rumour monguering comments (douting the veracity of the incident) is a way to blame Saif/Kareena.

I read the article...that's why I wrote that there isn't any substance behind these statements (imo).

Putting up chicken wire in your balcony isn't exactly ramping up security lol. Even mice could gnaw through that , let alone armed intruders. Better solutions would be cams that detect motion, actual grills that are strong enough, alarms , and coordinated lights all over. Why was there a French window in a child's room in the first place ? That's a really bad idea regardless of thieves. And more than Saif or Kareena the building should take the matter of security seriously. Nobody who lives there seems to give a shit. A break in and a knife attack would keep people on the edge usually. Karishma Tanna who lives there gave the most thanda response. " Haan suna, ab kya hi karein. Hmm bura hua. " Another guy who lives there said he hadn't heard about it until he saw it on the news which again doesn't sound believable. By morning thered be a gossip adda in the hallway. Even if residents were busy maids and other workers would gather news and relay it across floors. Chalo wire mesh hi sahi, kuch toh kar rahe hain das pandrah din ke baad.

PR stunt , nah. I mean there are better things to do right ? Like claiming to be non binary ,faking a third pregnancy, staging a believable mugging incident where an expensive bag gets stolen , finding a snake in the boot of the car and so on. The truth is somewhere between what they claim happened and what people think happened.

Doubting the veracity of their account is not the same as blaming Saif or Kareena for what they may have endured. There's a world of difference between the two. If gossipping is so terrible why are we here 77 pages into this topic. Let's not be self righteous.

Blaming them for lack of security measures is blaming the victims, though. (It's exactly the same way of what BI wrote).
