It seems, there will be Pushpa 3: The Rampage has also been announced at the end of Pushpa 2.

In the first Pushpa, there is story, in this second part, there are only events, not a binding factor. I think, just like Bahubali, in Pushpa 3, the little Allu will emerge as hero.

Nothing is confirmed yet. Let us see. I don't think, I will watch the 3rd part. This violence is more than enough for me!!!

I very much like your honesty because you're absolutely right when mentioning the getting "desensitized" by repeated showcasing of violence - in reel and in real. This brings escalation - equally in reel and in real as the human mind doesn't know boundaries...and - far too often - the acting out violence in real live follows suit.

I think that it isn't necessary that family movies shy away from showing agressivity and also violence and death because it belongs to life as such, too. What matters is the place it has in the narrative.

Some of the violent scenes includes:

Several persons are bitten in the neck and arm by a character who is bound at the hands and feet. His mouth and teeth are later seen to be bloodied, and occasionally you can hear a crunching sound as he bites down.

A sickle is used to stab several characters in the crotch, throat, and stomach. In a close-up, the blood and wounds from the three cuts on one character's neck are visible, and the sound of the cuts is audible.

Sexual violence themes...is this much violence is necessary to move the theme forward?

The film includes sexual violence threats and depictions of sexual violence, although the depictions are not graphic. In one scene, a bunch of males at a festival push her about and make jokes about stripping her until someone steps in and pushes them away. The same men, including one who was recently freed from prison on rape charges, later kidnap her and hold her hostage. They make disparaging remarks while pushing her, tugging at her hair and clothing, and exposing various body parts. These scenes could be distressing, particularly for viewers who have gone through similar things.

Are these films promoting violence, or are they presenting the image of Indian cinema, it's tech expertise abroad? Is cruelty now considered as heroism?

When I read the description of the scenes in the movie, the first thing that came into my mind was why did that unfortunate family wanted to show this kind of movie to their two little kids. This movie is too violent for the kids to watch.

I know South action movies usually have lot of scenes that are too violent in nature but I guess the main problem is censorship in India. Such kind of movies should get A rating but unfortunately won't as it might affect their business. Allu Arjun even went to the extent of thanking some people for raising the prices of Pushpa 2 movie tickets saying that it will promote growth and business. Obviously they would not want their movies to have A rating inspite of having lot of violence or sex. Nowadays we have passionate kissing and love making scenes even in so called family oriented movies and there's no censorship on them. Since last 15-20 years the Indian censorship board has become too lenient and passes any scene without any cuts as long as they're not 'political' in nature.

Well, yes, I do agree that movies should showcase reality if that’s what they’re aiming to do and not merely serve as escapism but there’s realistic level in aggressiveness and violence and death and then there’s the gratuitous level for them all. How much is enough, and what tips the scale over to being too much? It can be different for each one of us, but there needs to be some lines drawn. It’s the age-old chicken and egg allegory when it comes to Art imitates Life or Life imitates Art - I suspect both are true.

I haven't seen the first version and didn't see the 2nd one also. Just saw some song clips. Some may be genuine craze. Half the time the producers pay money to people and ask them to gather so that they can show some crowd. . Happens in politics also.
