There have been recent speculations about the revival of the Don franchise hitting a roadblock, with reports suggesting that the Ranveer Singh starrer Don 3 might be postponed. However, Excel Entertainment has now set the record straight, confirming that the film is progressing as planned.

In response to the rumours, a spokesperson for the production house issued a statement clarifying that Don 3 remains on schedule. “The makers and Ranveer Singh are on the same page that the timelines of Don 3 remain unchanged. Any such news of postponement is not true,” the statement read.

The reports of a potential delay had raised concerns that the film might even be shelved, but the production team reassured fans that the project is moving forward. “With the timelines firmly in place, the mandates for Don 3 remain ambitious -- delivering a cinematic spectacle that lives up to the franchise’s legacy while setting new benchmarks,” the note added

The film is currently slated to begin production in June 2025, and fans of the Don franchise are eagerly anticipating the next chapter.

Himesh is working very hard. He is suggesting that Excel is not getting producers, when they have already sold the rights to Prime Video,which should be in excess of 100 crs.

He is also suggesting that Dhar and Ranveer are writing off their fees.Because producers are getting worried!

He is pointing to the investments in Ranveer's films.But naturally.

Himesh should have picked one film to shade. Two is overkill.

He is as subtle as a sledge hammer. He does more harm than good for his clients.

Not just himesh, but also rahul raut is after ranveer, both are really not subtle with their bias and negativity.

Aditya and ranveer have gone into the second schedule of their film in full swing, and excel have confirmed Don 3 is happening and is on track, aww these negative journos are having a bad day

Those journos are a disgrace for the journalistic profession...I think that there are paying people behind who want to discredit Ranveer as they don't want him as a rival.

However Farhan should have cleared that much earlier and not waiting for bad propaganda...in addition, he has a negative history with his Don 3 announcements.

Although I'm not (and I wasn't) worried about Ranbir or Ranveer, it became obvious that the financial situation could have been (and still can be) a critical point for the realisation of Sanjay's, Tiwari's and Farhan's projects as it was admitted that those movies would be very costly. I certainly wish that every movie can be done with all the backing needed.
