Yes, dekhna. I was too young (<5 yo) when the incident happened but I have some faint memories of the excessive police everywhere. I've heard the first hand experiences of the people who were in the middle of the riots that happened subsequently but this movie solely focuses on the train incident and the best part about it being them mentioning the names of 59 people who were burned alive. Although most people remain unidentified, it is worth noting.
The movie is more like a docu-drama with some comic one liners and punches.
The way it shows the truth about journalism - how narratives are crafted and truth is twisted - fantastic. It's a good reminder to take everything you see with a pinch of salt and critically analyse things instead of consuming things as is.
Vikrant is a fantastic actor!!
