I loved the characters on your list except I had never heard of Freddy before. I decided that based on your taste, I would probably like the movie and should check it out. As expected, I loved the movie! This proves that Kartik is not just a star but also an actor. Blows away all the nepokids working today including Mr. Up-and-Coming Star at age 42.

I was even more impressed that he gained so much weight to play this role.

That was also a big reason I watched the movie, because he's so cute. I've had a crush on him since a decade ago with his Akaash Vani. I usually don't watch BW films without established stars but I made an exception for this one just because of him back then.

In fact, the only part about Freddy that I didn't believe is that someone as attractive as Kartik (even with the extra weight he put on in his midsection) would have no romantic prospects. They tried to make him look as simple and nerdy as possible but he looked just as great, if not even better. If Freddy is looking for a soulmate, I'm available lol.
