I dont think she moves the needle anymore. I remember her from a TBS sitcom she did
Jennifer Lawrence is the only star actress with a BO draw I believe, she started quite early so she isn't part of the same bracket I guess, same with Emma Stone or Margot Robbie, anyways I like Jennifer Lawrence alot Silver linings playbook being one of my all time favourite, even liked her recent rom comshe has a confident presence that rivals the biggest of stars, I find her eyes quite dead at times but she's a superstar who has shown range. Overall I prefer Emma Stone though over everyone else.

Tom Holland indeed has a weak script sense and is hell bent on breaking his image by doing overtly intense stuff, his screen presence is his biggest asset I feel and he ain't utilising it all that well, the good thing is the young actors in the west are actually young and in their 20s
so there's still time to break out properly and that's why I don't understand Timotheé's incessant need to get work done on his face, I guess you are right it's indeed buccal fat removal surgery gone wrong, guess the pressure to maintain that jawline.
Ronan is head and shoulders above her contemporaries in terms of effortlessness, hence Florence getting touted as the scene stealer in Little women never sit well with me, I mean were we really suppose to buy Pugh playing a 15 yr old Amy act
I find both Zendaya and Pugh to have a fixed template for Zendaya it's the resisting bitch face or non chalance that she brings into every character for Florence it's that weird frown pout face she keeps on making, both are pretty decent IMO, Zendaya however may finally arrive as movie star this year with her 1st theatrical release as a lead. I like both but both annoy me from time to time with their Red carpet shenanigans
I haven't watched Anna Taylor Joy's work apart from that creepy af Menu flick
with Ralph Fiennes found her forgettable so can't comment, is Queen's Gambit worth watching?
Florence's role was more unique in the context of earlier movies. Ronan was playing the same role as Hepburn, and did it effortlessly, but she was again, playing a role Hepburn played, so people would be more biased to the person playing a new facet in their character. I think Pugh got set up, she did great acting-wise but she didn't physically match her character unless they dubbed.
Pugh has a smaller range but she's aware of it, and it doesn't take away from the fact that she's good at her strengths. Midsommaar is her best.
She seems to be following Carey Mulligan's path, she does fit into blockbusters whereas Ronan doesn't enjoy them as much. Ronan is also much more experienced, inherently it's difficult to compare them.
Zendaya is very overhyped acting-wise. If she can improve besides the likes of heavily directed flicks like Dune she'll sustain amazingly as a star. Her team is trying to mimick Halle Berry's quick improvement acting wise. Halle was never consistent but she delivered when the time came. It's really weird if Zendaya's team is pushing that because not everyone can be a Halle and do well under pressure. They should re-evaluate because this is her one chance to learn all she can.
I recommend the Queen's Gambit. Anya's problem is that her fanbase is majority teen girls idolizing her image, so she has been having a hard time breaking out of that mold (she's doing it by starring in strange flicks not appealing to the mainstream)

Emma Stone has a stronger BO draw than Lawrence as of now, but yes JLaw is the last "star" actress in the traditional term with a bigger peak.
Emma is a very private person. Since she constantly delivers, her fanbase supports all her projects, even the weirder ones, so her BO record is quite fantastic. If not for Disney's backdoor deals her success rate is the strongest even compared to actors.
JLaw has a very outgoing personality, so she does have a bit of an overexposure issue, slightly similar to Anne Hathaway's career setback. I think she'll have an upward trend this decade.
Margot is interesting. She usually gets roles that others have rejected, which is why she's really leaning into the producer thing now. She's a much better actress than people give her credit for. I'm excited to see what's next. She hasn't peaked yet.
I'm a bit worried for Natalie Portman. One of the best actresses of her generation but it's clear some issues are taking a toll on her. She's lost some favor with the higherups (she was absolutely in top 10 performances this year with no award or nom.) and she had some husband issues too?

I really like Zendaya, I get the reason for her general hype more to do with offscreen persona, but her performances don't really strike a chord with me, ya I know she has won 2 Emmys but the point still stands something's amiss Dune 2 trailer or her Tennis movie trailer didn't change that I hope the actual movie will.

How is Jennifer Lawrence as an actress ?
I think JLaw is a good full-package actress. She excels at action, drama, romance, suspense, and beyond. But her comic timing is her greatest skill. She is willing to make herself the punchline and laugh at herself. She can do both the dry, sardonic quips plus slapstick and screwball.
I think she is one of the few modern female actors who has led a highly successful fantasy fiction/action genre. There is no comparison between Hunger Games and the female-led shows and films in the DCEU or MCU. Wonder Woman comes close, but it was just one movie, and the sequel was a dud. Like Ripley and Sarah Connor in the eighties and nineties, Katniss Everdeen had a lot of male fans, probably because The Hunger Games focused on a reluctant dystopian revolutionary narrative rather than a forced female hero narrative. There was also the X-Men franchise, where she played Mystique. Many people also believe Red Sparrow was better than the Black Widow movie.
The audience fell out of love with JLaw due to overexposure. She won an Oscar for a role that many believe didn't come even close to her breakout role in Winter's Bone. She leaned really hard into the "cool girl" trope, a trope that started falling out of favor after Gone Girl. Some of her role choices weren't the best either. It seemed that she was trying too hard to deliver noteworthy roles.
But after a break and pregnancy, she seems to be finding her groove again. I love No Hard Feelings so much. A perfect blend of comedy with a sweet coming of age story.
Eh he is just okay
