I even hated Rose for a looong time for hogging that board like a queen while he was freezing to death. 😭🤣 I think it’s not an exaggeration to say that a piece of every girl’s heart died with Jack.smiley19

It's a long article, the gist of it is,Jack(probably) wouldn't have survived even if they'd shared the board, and yes they conducted experiment to find outsmiley17

But she didn't know that and you still got to try if you cared about a person even a little bit

The sad thing about the movie Titanic is the movie itself, the way it was made

Rose not only first cheats on her fiance who's helping them financially (okay she was not in love with him), then she discards one of the lifeboat (when there was a severe shortage of it) which could've saved someone else, someone more deserving and lets face it, everyone else on that ship was more deserving than her

Women love and lust after unattainable men, that's why the character from Twilight series is so popular

No wonder they luuuuv Jack, looks hot, has sweaty s*x, the gives his life saving the woman, he dies young too - none of the getting old, hanging around and annoying you stuff

I am talking about Veer Zaara kind of movies only, them having a happy ending together gives you hope and happiness but if one of them had died 😭😭 I don't think I could take it

Aman dying in KHNH broke me and till this day, I haven't completed KHNH

I would be shattered if one of them died or they never met again, but tht still wouldn't stop me from watching itsmiley19

I’m watching Turkish show called Bambaska Biri right now and the way the story was set up from the very first episode I knew it won’t have a happy ending unless they turn it into a fairy tale which won’t be fair to the audience or characters. I don’t know how I will feel about it once I get there but I’m so invested in the characters I probably will be sad but I don’t think I would hate it completely maybe because I’m already expecting it and prepared for it but when I was younger I hated such ending. Aman from KHNH comes to mind I remember how devastated I was as a teen when I saw the movie but now when I rewatch it I feel like it’s the appropriate ending and I still feel sad but it’s not the same as when I was younger. Another movie which had a sad ending that pissed me off so much cause I don’t think they built it up the idea of the lead male character dying is A2 and I have never seen it again. More anything else that made me angry I wasn’t sad or felt bad for the guy I was just angry 😂

I tried a Turkish drama once recommended by my cousin, she told me it had happy ending so I was pretty excited to watch

But it was more of cultural shock than anything else with Male lead having a child with his cousin to male lead's sister having a child with husband of that cousin with whom male lead has a child then Male lead's sister marrying her brother

One movie I thought would've been better with sad ending - Bobby

It would've been a classic with sad ending, although it still is

Guide movie has happy ending compared to the novel it was based on...

In the novel it never rains, and they never meet ever again after parting

Julie(1975) had sad ending too in the book but I am glad they changed it in the movie

Movies like Company and Satya had sad endings, apt for the movies

But Rangeela wouldn't have worked with sad ending even though it's more realistic. Does anyone really believe in real life they would've gotten together?

My Bollywood is more or less limited to SRK

If you have time, try these old classics... Songs are unbelievably great (esp Bobby and Julie) such pretty faces, great storytelling (atleast for BW standards)

But now you know the ending of all these movies :(

What did I just read?? Why’d anyone recommend something like that and more importantly did you ask them to pay for your therapy 😭.

I have had lots of Turkish drama recommendations but they are too much for me cause an episode is over 2 hours which is why I have managed to finish no more than one show before and probably the current one cause I already binged and there are only two episodes left. Unless it’s able to captivate me completely I find myself getting bored/tired more often than not.

Anjaam is a good example of how movies should not be manipulative.

How much more tragedy can you induce in the film smiley36

Madhuri's character's husband, child, unborn child are killed and then she kills Shahrukh's character and herself smiley24 like wtf.

Another film is Ranjhana where Kundan separates the couple and inadvertently plays a role in the guy's death but in the end he dies and becomes mahaan because he knew that he would get injured/killed and still decided to go smiley24
