Sad endings, nope...

horrible things happening in the movies I can't watch. Injustice of any kind my anger increases. If at home i will rant and family have to tell me to calm down.

That scene in village in jawan movie, I was in a theatre, oh god.. I was not able to see it. Still I get angry just thinking about it. Sairat movie ending.. there was pin drop silence in theatre. Still haunts me. Actually so many scenes from some movies haunt me still now.. they come into thoughts at random moments. Anything sad & horrible with kids just cannot take it anymore.

As such try to avoid such movies or at home FF or just don't watch it.

Another thing which I absolutely don't like are Open end endings. What even ! Why even make such incomplete movies and waste our time.

I like romantic thrillers with sad endings like beyhadh2 and Saubhagyavati bhava1 . Absolutely loved Beyhadh2, watched it recently. 😍 It's incomplete but they have given us enough story to imagine where the story is going to end. Maya will probably kill hero's father, her stalker and going to end up dead at the hands of hero (Rudra) or end up dead protecting Rudra or end up in jail.

Honestly, I hate this "Woman dying at the hands of her lover" trope

They did this to Khaleesi too🤦‍♀️ Strong women are never allowed to rule, men get away with everything.

Well Maya killed Rudra's innocent brother mercilessly by making him fall in love with her then forced him to commit suicide, she deserves what she gets. Same cannot be said for Khaleesi, I didn’t watch GOT but from what I know about the show, she is a nice person while Maya is a negative character and she has her own reasons for being so.

More than sad ones, I despise incomplete endings. I remember watching one movie where, in the whole movie the girl struggles to study and at last, the movie ends on her not able to do so and being married instead. Yeah, I can think positively that she could have studied after marrying too but no, why did the movie have to end like that?! I was so angry and so disturbed for so long.smiley44

CDramas are no less in making you miserable but the quantity is unmatchable, my curriculum state of mourning is due to impending death of Ming Ye 😭

I can’t watch SRK die in any movie, even when he’s the villain lmao. Ming Ye from Till the end of the moon? Chinese historical and fantasy dramas are equivalent to Pakistani serials. 00000000.1% chance of a happy ending. That’s why I watch the last episode first smiley36. Btw you should watch Story of Kunning Palace. Great ending and the main hero is beautiful.

I haven't seen the last episode but I read about it and I know he'll die 😢

Luo Yunxi is doing such a good job of portraying different characters that I am unable to stop watching. I tried pacifying myself by looking up his other dramas and guess what 😭 his character dies in one and in another, he is the ONLY one left unhappy

I'll try Story of Kunning Palace after I am done with Till The End Of The Moon

I don't like sad endings at all. Hero not getting the heroine, the heroine dying, both dying etc. I can accept it in case the hero or heroine are toxic but sad endings always hurt. In case of serials, it gets worse when the lead moves on with another one smiley19

Actually, I like Tere Naam's ending. He forced his love on her. So, he got punishment for it. he deserves it.

Sadma wouldn't have been the film that it is today if it had had a happy ending. I hate the ending but that's the ending that made the film iconic.

Same goes for say, Kal ho na ho. The ending destroyed us but it elevated the film.

But manipulating people emotionally but forcby inducing despair and tragedy is a big no no for me.
