Oh oops, I didn't get a chance to respond before you changed your comment but I was able to read it beforehand. I agree with you on what you said about not looking like a top actress. I hadn't seen her in the movies you listed so can't speak about how she did there.

Yes, Aish refused Jawan because she didn't want a cameo. Does SRK still offer his films to Kajol though? I haven't heard about Kajol being asked to do any of his movies for the last decade or so, especially after Dilwale.

It was the late 90s/early 2000s where every film used to be offered to Kajol first. When she would refuse, usually those films would go to Aish until SRK blacklisted her.

Dil Se, Mohabbatein, Devdas, Veer-Zaara, and KANK were all offered to Kajol first. Aish took Mohabbatein and Devdas. Veer-Zaara was one of the movies that SRK had her cut from along with Chalte Chalte.

K3G was originally meant to be offered to Aish, but KJo felt because of his friendship with Kajol that he had to ask her first as a formality (he was expecting her to say no because she just got married) and was surprised that Kajol said yes, so he couldn't ask Aish who was who he really wanted.

Darr was originally meant to go to Aish. Happy New Year and Jawan were both offered to her first as well.

In Aamir's defense, he did not look a day older than 30 in 3 idiots, he really looked the younger version he was supposed to look like.

Read KJo's interview. He said himself Aish was his first choice. I've posted a thread on it. If you're really interested in educating yourself, you will be able to find it otherwise remain blissful in ignorance.

It does seem like SLB isn't really all that interested in making Baiju Bawra with the way his own PR has been shelling out negative articles about the lead cast and their inability to bring in investors reaffirming the theories of Gangubai incurring huge losses for the makers.

So logistically speaking SLB might just be eager to reunite with SRK, but if this feeling is mutual then obviously it will happen in no time resolving the investors issue for SLB. No for 4 films promise or Kjo-Reshma Shetty would be able to do anything about it

And if SLB-SRK collaboration is indeed happening then no matter how many fancasting ppl do on SM, it would be Deepika opposite him by default no maker especially not someone as finicky as SLB is gonna cast any golu-molu or outdated actress in his film, sad but true. Kareena could be the only other logical choice, but I don't think she has any chemistry with SRK. Frankly knowing how superstitious SRK has been off late he himself would push for DPesp after the way Dunki new pairing backfired.

Personally I would love to see SRK with Tabu once, but Vidya, Aish, Kajol are a big no for me. Tabu is the only relevant one from 90s pool.
