Thanks for confirming. BM was meant for Aish and Salman. That wasn't possible after their breakup so he was going to cast Bebo instead but her movie with Salman flopped big time so he scrapped that idea.

I did find the project that Bhansali was trying to cast SRK and Aishwarya in after ADHM so you're right, it's not this film. It was supposed to be on the poets Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam.

If SLB casts srk-dp, why he would change his mind about working with alia-rs is my question? I thought they were suppose to do a film together. He don't consider alia-rs fresh pairing because they did a movie together? but srk dp worked together before lol maybe all this is a rumor. If he starts shooting for his movie in May, he needs to announce the cast soon. I know in March dp and big b starts shooting for the intern remake.

also aish does not look like how she used to look, she had a natural beauty but she messed up her face like priyanka did. I would like to see srk-tabu or even urmila if mature love story and if it is about a young woman falling in love with older men than fatima would be interesting and I don't even watch fatima's movies, I only saw 1 film of her and aditya in a multi star cast.

I think they are still friends but not as close anymore as they used to. And in terms of co-stars, he was always closest to Juhi. I think KJo was a major link between SRK and Kajol and SRK's terms with KJo are now very different as well and they're not as close either. Also the Yash Raj Films feud with Ajay Devgn when Jab Tak Hai Jaan went against Ajay's movie may also have affected his relationship with Kajol. She was missing from the latest KKHH anniversary celebration even though SRK, Rani, and KJo were there.

Mani Ratnam wanted Kajol for Dil Se and actually she was a big fan of his and it was a dream of hers to work with him. She wanted to do Dil Se but her dates were booked for another film which is why she had to say no.

Bhansali also really wanted to work with Kajol for Devdas. I don't know why she refused but my guess is that it's because she was newly married and wanted to settle down and start a family. She did do K3G but that was her last movie until Fanaa so it seemed she didn't want to do anything else after K3G, including Devdas. Maybe had it started earlier, she would have said yes. She said no to Gadar as well (both her and Aish were the original choices for Gadar).

I'm assuming she turned down Veer-Zaara for similar reasons that it came out during her retirement period. KANK she said no to because she chose Fanaa instead for her comeback project. Aamir Khan made a big deal out of this because he and SRK were not on good terms during that time so Aamir wanted everyone to know that Kajol snubbed SRK and KJo for his movie.

I agree, I'm glad that even though SRK no longer considers Kajol for roles for whatever reason, that he still goes to Aish even if she's had to say no to them all so far. Happy New Year was a special case because she was going to do the movie but when Abhishek got cast in a supporting role, she turned the film down. She said that audiences would not accept her in a movie with Abhishek if they were not romantically paired together and this would cause the film to be a failure so for the good of the film, she needed to leave it.

I'm also glad Kajol turned all those films down. I think Dil Se is the only one she would have been a good fit for. I can see her doing that movie but I can't see her in Devdas or Veer-Zaara. Especially not Devdas.

I wasn't familiar with the RS-Alia rumors about a Bhansali project for them. Maybe he's lost interest since they've already done two movies together and won't be a fresh pairing. SRK/Deepika are not a fresh pair either but he seems eager to work with SRK again (and keep in mind that Padmaavat was originally offered to SRK, both male roles) and we know Deepika is his other muse after Aishwarya. He's done Deepika/Ranveer and he's done SRK/Aish but he's never done SRK/Deepika even if others have done that so that may be the novelty for him.

Yes, I would love to see Tabu or Urmila with SRK. Urmila especially because her one film with SRK was before both become stars so it's not really geared towards them as a romance. They needed a film after both had become big stars but the closest they got to that was Dil To Pagal Hai which Urmila ended up pulling out of last minute (I heard she even filmed for a few days). Om Shanti Om's Deewangi cameo is the only time we've seen them onscreen together since Chamatkar. Let's have a love triangle movie with SRK, Tabu, and Urmila all together.

Do you mean Fatima Sana Shaikh? I could see Sanya Malhotra also in the role then.

I liked her in movies like Dangal, Shakuntala Devi, and Jawan. But I can see why her playing his protegee in Jawan would make it awkward for her to play his love interest afterwards.

Oh wow lol. That's funny that you dislike her so much. Her role is very significant in Shakuntala Devi since she's playing Vidya's daughter but in Jawan, her role is very small and there are so many characters that you don't notice her very much. You could probably watch Jawan and not have an issue.
