One can't be "tortured" by a movie/an actor one watches without being forced to do so (like in Clockwork Orange).

And everybody can lie, also "insiders"...it only depends on personal agendas...and sometimes, it is better to be an "outsider" to relativise some statements from "insiders"...

But if you cherish certain opinions, it's your own choice (like it is for everybody else here).

Firstly, investigate why actresses are turning down the roles. If it is because the roles are bad then they should rework the roles.

Secondly, there are plenty of actresses in the industry. They don't have to go to the youngest newcomer just because a few veterans turned it down. They should approach young ones only when all other options are exhausted.

I'd like to see them in a Zodiac/Seven-like thriller but these Khans (SRK and Salman mainly) are so hung up on box office results, they'd never do it.

Let the audience decide. As long as people are watching their movies and their movies are making more money than the so called younger stars, why should they change anything about their methods?

I don't know about Aamir and Salman, but SRK will continue to do the roles he likes to do...for his fans, for himself, for his kids...

I don't mind them doing the lead role when they are 100, but if they are gonna play grandpas then and not men saving their grandpas (their grandpas being played by men their age or even younger than them who just happen to look more aged than them, like Akshay Kumar and the men playing his in-laws in Laxmii)

I think that's why Saif's filmography is more interesting (atleast before Adipush) for me, his characters are different and he has even accepted his age, can't say the same about the Khans (and before anyone says SRK played a father to a 20+ in Jawaan, again, he played the son too, who doesn't have any semblance to his mom)

And as people have said in this thread, given women better role in your films so that they don't say no and look forward to doing them. Aamir ke Dangal mein even though the movie was about Fatima (Sanya ka toh bhool hi jaao) it wasn't, in Pathaan, the women were there yet not there (I keep saying, make a webshow exploring the girls in team and Nayan's journey, heck, even Deepu 's past before she got married. Maalik, lage haath Chak de girls ko bhi laao aur ek OTT movie banao 🙈)

I would love to see SRK and Kajol in a mature love story, or even Sonali and Salman together again (I didn't realise it, big I kinda like them together onscreen) in maybe a movie about an field agent and a desk officer going off on missions.

Salman, SRK and Aamir are the kind of actors jinko dimaag mein rakh ke roles likhe jaate hai, they aren't stealing anyone's jobs (maybe sometimes being kanjoos on good writing, but that's about it)

I don't know everything......but I know this much....that no Corporation or SRK will spend 500 crores to make a movie hit......
