Everyone did.....Sunny Paaji buddhe Hoge rote rote for this exact thing that he had been taken for a ride and the original script didn't have all these "Sympathy" cards like dead mother(😭), absentee father(😭), no friends or social contact(😭)....only Kiran, the ray of hope 😭😭😭😭. Never mind he killed his own friend or innocent police-men. Bechara!!

Btw the only reason anyone remembers this mediocre 90s film is Paajis constant crying for 30 years. If bigger hits like Saajan, Tridev, Khalnayak can be forgotten....nobody would've remembered this either.

PS: Can I please have a violent stalker in my life....I hate violence btw. Not good for society. 🤣

No. There wasn't any love story to support, he had gone too far so his end was obvious and right

becoz u like srk, not sunny but kiran doesn't feel the same. She loved sunny, not srk. Ok u like srk, just imagine that u r having a good relationship with srk n a man whom u don't like, keeps stalking u, kidnaps u, slaps u n tries to kill ur husband, srk. How would you feel? Then wouldn't u root for srk to kill that stalker? Yes i also like srk more than sunny but in the movie, when i saw the scene in which kiran literally becomes so happy when she gets the information that her stalker is dead, i really liked it coz i would've felt the same if i were in her place. Anyone would feel happy on that stranger's death who is making their life hell. The ending of the movie was perfect n realistic

I didn't like the husband in there either (when he slaps Madhuri for rejecting SRK) so neither man in Anjaam was much of a catch but SRK has never played a more despicable character than he did in Anjaam.

bold- lol! He didn't slap her for rejecting srk! He slaps her becoz she was not letting him work with srk n she told him that she will do some work if he needs money so much then he slapped her coz of his own ego was hurt, not becoz of srk's ego hurt. The way u written this sentence, those who haven't watched the movie, they will think that a husband slapped his wife becoz she rejected her psycho lover. Lol! Btw his slapping act was still very wrong. Also, srk himself slapped madhuri too many times n beats her black n blue after some days. His violence level was much more higher than madhuri's husband

Love the SRK/Juhi love. Want desperately to see them reunited onscreen.

yes i also feel the same but still the ending was very right. I love rkdp pair. If ranbir plays deepika's psycho lover in a movie, i can't help myself to root for rkdp to be together in the film but still i wouldn't say that ending was not right especially when i have already seen 3 happy endings of rkdp movies. I would like to see rkdp romance in Ranbir's dream sequence

No, although SRK acted well. Why did he cold bloodedly kill Annu Kapoor's character? He should have caught.

Juhi looked very beautiful in this movie.

No I didn't root for him. I didn't want him to die though. But whatever. I felt juhi is some unlucky girl who gets in trouble shah or arbaaz in her life (I didn't realise movies were fake)

Regrettably, yes.

But in my defense, I was barely even a teen. In my warped, impressionable, childish mind - SRK's obsessive devotion was romantic and desirable. Sunny was too aloof and nonchalant to be Kiran's lover. In my head, I always pictured scenarios where Rahul survived.

I cringe at some of my childhood beliefs. I grew up believing that obsessive stalking and persistence were romantic. Cinema can have such an impact on impressionable minds.

I am glad that I have changed and matured over the years. Today, Darr would make me cringe.

Yes, that's what I meant but it seemed to take too long to write the whole reason why he actually slapped her so I condensed it by saying he slapped her for rejecting SRK since his issue was really that she rejected SRK as a work partner for her husband. But I thought his reaction was very unfair so to be honest, when he gets killed a few minutes later, I did not feel bad. I thought he deserved it for his outrageous behavior of siding with a stranger over his wife and slapping her in front of him as well. He earned his death, not that SRK was better. As you said, SRK turns out to be worse but that's like choosing between Biden and Trump where even if one is worse, the other isn't that far behind.

Ironically in Darr and Anjaam, both the husband and SRK's psycho lover are both horrible people. SRK in Darr is the most romantic of the four characters which is why my sympathies lay with him.
