The negative way Suhana's acting is described isn't warranted, imo.
She is the only daughter of the richest man who went to London with his family for a couple of years. Back to Riverdale, he thinks, he can buy (or coerce) people to get his plans realized. His wife is just his wife, frequenting a circle of other women in the small town. Her parents mostly don't have time for her...she has to ask the secretary when she wants to talk to her father...
Veronica may have been a nice girl years ago, but now, she is an entitled brat with a quite snobbish attitude and a body language that borders on posing (I really liked this allusion to her assumed status as SRK's daughter - I found it courageous to seemingly overact knowing that it would get her more bashing than praise).
However, the inside Veronica is not very secure which becomes obvious when Betty accuses her (unfairly) that her (Betty's) father lost the book store because of Veronica's father. Instantly, Veronica's body language changes in a more natural one - she is genuinely shocked (no posing).
There are more moments with a revealing change in body language (e.g. when Betty opens up to Veronica about her feelings or when Veronica confronts her father or when she is genuinely sad).
In the same way, I could write about the other six actors and their acting...partly I did it in the Archies movie thread. Here, I just wanted to object to the superficial judgement (imo superficial) of Suhana's acting as she exactly did what she was meant to do.
