MT: Ever felt like this?

So guys I'm at work with a terrible headache and lack of sleep. I can't concentrate on work and even black coffee is not helping. I can't take off as my leaves are exhausted and I don't want LOP (Leave Without Pay).

It's just one of those days and I felt like venting. The keyboard, a treacherous maze where the keys play hide-and-seek with your sanity.

Has anyone ever faced this, and if so, what's your solution? I still have 3 hours to go!!!!!

Do you have time limit...to do a certain work in a certain time?

A day of survival, where each tick of the clock is a battle won, and each yawn is a war cry. That sums it up.

Editing requires high focus and concentration, and today I am majorly lacking!

So, it would be okay, just getting the time to pass by looking into the book and writing something?

I hope you don't mind my questions...that I engage you this way into a conversation...

About what subject is the textbook?

The subject is English, and the The Old Man and the Sea is the textbook. I am editing that.

Hemingway...so I imagine, the students have to read the book and then work on the textbook?

Okay...could you go to the bathroom and take a little nap/the clock ticking away or is there someone who would bother about that?

No, I can't take a nap in the washroom. I did try splashing water on my eyes and feeling better overall.
