Unfortunately, I can't watch the movie in a theatre (I would as VV Chopra is a good filmmaker imo). Vikram Massey, in addition, is a good reason - apart from the subject.

It took Vinod many years to direct a movie after Eklavya and - unfortunately - he announced a movie-subject that already had brewed in Agnihotri's mind in a way to catering to the exisitng politics. So, Shikara was bound to be made unsuccessful at the BOI, as Agnihotri was working on a movie he - initially - even had wanted to release some weeks before Vinod's one (although announced after Vinod had announced his project).

I really wish 12th fail to become a sleeper hit!!! (and that every future Agnihotri movie will tank like the infamous TVW).
