Dealing with hateful comments

To the fans here, how do you guys deal with all the haters and negativity aimed at your favorite stars? Sometimes the comments are filled with pure hatred and nonsense and pretty damn annoying especially if they are right under your posts. Do you let them get to you in your personal life? On Twitter, it's easy to just hit that block button, but here on this forum, ignoring those comments must be difficult.

How do you handle it?

I learned that not everyone is going to like my favorite no matter what I do. And in a democratic society, everyone has a right to express how they feel. Unless I know someone is specifically doing something to get under my skin that is a different story. But as a whole as long as no one is personally attacking me. I take people I interact with daily on this forum over my favorite celeb. I have not met my favorite celeb. I don't know them personally. I also don't if they would give two hoots about me if they met me personally. Even though this is a virtual forum. I do semi-know people on this forum. At least they give me the time of the day and interact with me in discussions. And once again they have a right to have their own opinion.

That's a good perspective. I'm all for healthy disagreements – that's what makes the forum interesting but what really annoys me are those trolls or fanatics who just can't stand to see any praise going to stars they don't like.

Why would you take it upon yourself to deal with the hate or love or whatever that was aimed at someone else? Ye toh udhta teer ko apne pe lene wali baat hogayi na?

At stars? Try dealing with hateful comments at you because you don’t agree with someone’s political/social views. Those are the real losers

As long as no one personally attacks you (generic you, not talking abt TM), it is fine. No one needs to die or kill for your fav actors.

Believe it or not, they do NOT know you exist. And do not expect you to fight for them, hopefully. Abusing each other over an actor is ridiculous. You interact with the members here everyday. Be civil and agree to disagree.

You can't force someone to like your fave.

Unless they are stopping you from praising them, they have a right to their own opinion. These celebs are not your relatives.
