I don't like seeing Modi....but I can avoid it......probably there is less outrage now because most of us understand now after the recent happenings that BW is an extremely soft target and some things have to be done by the stars to save themselves from the cunning and mighty politicians who make all these agencies dance on their pinky.....people's opinions change with time and experience......see even SRK is learning now....

Tbh, it would be detrimental to any big star to criticise modi or the current government, I feel like they have to congratulate/praise him and attend these events to stay in his good books, becuase we have seen the treatment of those that criticise modi or the BJP, its quite sad actually. In Hollywood many times big stars have critiqued their own government because they know there won't be consequences and they can speak their mind and how they feel.

If you mean the event where Modi invited many of the filmindustry then it wasn't a success for Modi as not many bought his idea of a huge filmstudio in UP by investing in the project (Gandhi's 150th birthday celebration had been a good pretext, right?)

And the IOC event is nothing else then another possibility for Modi to "shine", but it isn't "his" event...many speeches or long speeches tend to be boring...
