A public meltdown is bad but a family man has a public affair with no consequences and that is okay?
Ooh, a 2-part question.
A public meltdown *is* funny when it's over a celeb's success
. I mean, how obsessed do you have to be to go that level? Hate truly is the other side of love. Shaitan-Haiwan has not been able to think beyond SRK for a few days.
As for SRK and PC,
For one, the so-called evidence peeps keep quoting is his flirting. He has flirted with Madhuri, Juhi, random elderly women on TV. He even played kissy hands with Juhi at an awards show. He held Alia's dupatta while she was walking. He flirted with Deepika and got hilariously shut down.
Is it wise to flirt when you're in the public eye? No. But it's also not a crime when neither party is insane enough to take it seriously. Also, private flirting is a different matter because public flirting is partly for the show. PR, if you will.
In the PC episode, it was always her making the statements which crossed the line like the boyfriend jacket. HER pinky in his pocket. Her friends making comments about Bollywood wives. She was Kangana 1.0, who mistook an actor's very public flirting for something else.
Or let's say, I'm 100% wrong. Let's say they did have an affair.
It's still a private failing, something between SRK and his wife and children. It's sad, but to judge a person's character, I look at how he treats those who cannot fight back. So far, SRK passes that test with flying colors.
I consider his commercial for paan masala more of a moral failing as far as the public is concerned. I would like him to apologize for it because audience does get influenced by what celebs suggest.
That's all I got to say about that.
P.s. I've given this answer so many times that I should keep the link for copy paste next time.
